Cook Restaurant

Pasture of Balmoral/Kirribilli

Mosman & Kirribilli, Sydney NSW

About the role

Experienced Cook required for Restaurant Mosman $70k plus Super

What you would be doing

The main role includes:

  • Preparation of dishes from our menu including entrées, mains, desserts
  • Maintaining inventory of ingredients & stock,
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with OH&S regulations;
  • Supervising kitchen hands and apprentices as required.

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications would be considered favourably
  • Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

 

About the employer

Pasture of Balmoral is a Restaurant and Café situated on The Esplanade, Balmoral Beach. Our aim is to provide a unique coffee and food experience and destination. The focus is on superior customer service enhanced by an inviting, modern, stylish but relaxed interior design. We offer a fresh, healthy “ breakfast and lunch menu” with a relaxed smart -casual” dinner experience.  We only use high-quality locally sourced produce. We are open seven days a week. Dinner will be served four nights per week (Wednesday to Saturday).
